Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of articleautomotives.com and purchases from Article Automotives LLC (“Article,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked at checkout. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit an order.
2. Eligibility and permitted use
You must be able to enter a binding contract and provide accurate billing, shipping and fitment information. You may use this site only for lawful personal or business purchases and may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access or misuse its content.
3. Product information and fitment
We work to describe and photograph products accurately. Screen colors, renderings and installed examples are illustrative and may vary from the delivered product. The Vent Fit Phone Mount is designed for Audi R8 vehicles on the 4S platform for model years 2017–2025. The customer remains responsible for confirming vehicle configuration and compatibility before installation. Contact Customer Care before ordering if the vehicle has modified vents, trim or dashboard components.
4. Prototype testing program
Vent Fit units offered in the current release are pre-production prototypes supplied for real-world use, evaluation and feedback. A prototype may use interim components, materials, hardware, finish or packaging; its fit or function may differ from a later production version. Before checkout, each tester must acknowledge this status. Prototype status does not remove any warranty, return or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Independent product company
Article Automotives LLC is an independent product company and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Audi AG or its affiliates. Audi, R8 and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility.
6. Orders, pricing and acceptance
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Product availability, specifications and pricing may change before purchase. Your submission of payment is an offer to purchase. We may reject or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or inventory error, shipping restriction, fitment concern or other lawful reason. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged.
7. Payment and taxes
Payments are processed through Stripe’s hosted checkout and are subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices. Article does not store your full payment-card number. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and other legally relevant information.
8. Shipping, delivery and returns
Shipping estimates, delays, damage claims, cancellations and returns are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Title and risk of loss pass as permitted by applicable law. Please inspect the order promptly after delivery.
9. Installation and safe use
Follow all included instructions and confirm that the mount, phone and attached accessories are secure before driving. Do not install, adjust or operate a device while the vehicle is moving. The driver is responsible for maintaining visibility, vehicle control and compliance with local distracted-driving and device-mounting laws. Stop using the product if it becomes loose, damaged or interferes with vehicle controls.
10. Limited product responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Article is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, incompatible accessories, product modification, misuse, collision, excessive load or failure to follow instructions. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer protection rights.
11. Intellectual property
The site design, Article name and logo, copy, original renderings, CAD-derived product geometry and other Article content are owned by or licensed to Article Automotives LLC. No license is granted except the limited right to view the site and use a purchased product as intended.
12. Site availability and third-party services
We may update or suspend parts of the site and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Links or integrations operated by third parties—including payment, hosting and shipping providers—are governed by those providers’ own terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when an order is placed govern that order. Questions may be sent to me@articleautomotives.com.
